Rotary Club of Hillsboro honors students from HHS and HJHS each month as Rotary Students of the Month. Faculty members select the students based on character, academic achievement and contributions through student activities.
In the noon meeting on Wednesday, November 6 HJHS Counselor Jordyn Russell introduced 8th graders Jameela Degrate and Benjamin Johnson. Both made comments on their participation in activities. Jameela identified reading as one of her interests and Benjamin suggested a strong interest in robotics. The Rotary Club of Hillsboro has been honoring outstanding students for scholarship and citizenship since 1935.
