The following communties from our District suffered severe damage: Elgin, Taylor and Round Rock. Nothing worse than seeing your own community destoryed. Our local Clubs are already mobilizing to help with support & relief efforts.
Here is how you can help them:
 
Rotary Club of Elgin is collecting supplies for thos affected by the tornado. Supplies needed are: water, tolietries, clothing and non-perishable food. Donations can be dropped off at Matt Callahan’s business, TWFG Insurance at 101 W. First St. Because of the need for hot meals for cleanup workers and victims, RC Elgin will also be accepting monetary donations in the form of checks made to the RC of Elgin or gift cards to local food establishments for meals. Rotary Club of Taylor is working with the local Salvation Army. They are in need of food gifts cards, plastic totes and are accepting monetary donations to support those affected by the tornado. Items can be sent to Club of Taylor, PO Box 289, Taylor TX 76574. If you are sending checks to the Rotary Club of Taylor, please notify Club President, Tia Rae (tia.stone@gmail.com or 254-455-0145) and they will purchase the supplies/gift cards. 
 
Rotary Club of Round Rock is actively working with Round Rock Neighborhoods to coordinate clean-up efforts. Volunteers are needed to help clean-up tornado debris. Contact person, Cathy Danahy, cathydanahy@gmail.com -1-913-406-8847.
